Boston, MA - David

I had never been to Beantown.  I was not there for long, but I loved what I saw.

The venue, was amazingly right across the street from Fenway Park.  Joe and Matt Provo went to catch the game happening that day and Matt, his girlfriend Hayley, myself and our friend Tristan Bradford Eames (aka Clearwater:  The Man Behind the Beard) went and grabbed dinner at an Irish Pub, which happened to be right next to the finish line for the marathon happening just a few days later.  Clearwater is from Marion, MA and is a fellow who hiked that Appalachian Trail the same year that Joe, Matt and I did.  We actually formed a group called the 4th Rate Disco Poets and hiked that last two states (NH and ME) together, while stopping on top of mountains and other significant landmarks to recite cheesey poetry we had written for each other while walking during the day.  Clearwater didn't trim or shave his beard for the entire six month period we were out and as a result it would rub paint off of both sides of every door frame that he walked through.  It was great to see Clearwater (that is his trail name) again, but I kind of miss his beard.

Clearwater
That's Clearwater guarding the trail in ME.

Boston was a great show.  A cool club, that seemed especially designed for having rave parties.  We were somewhat tucked away back by the exit so we didn't see a lot of traffic during the show, but it was great to be there none-the-less.

Things are crazy here that the end.  But we will send out more blogs as time allows.
