Right now many young girls in Africa DREAM of going to school. They aspire to sit in village classrooms with their pens and learn about a bigger world - mastering the skills they would need to make a better life for themselves and their families and communities. But something's standing in their way...
Girls are the ones responsible for making sure their family has water. And usually they have to walk for hours to find it leaving them little to no time for school. As a result, children may have no choice but to stay away.
$12 will free a girl from spending her day carrying water, giving her a chance to go to school.
