WASH Clubs
Schools, like this one in Ndola, Zambia, host student led WASH clubs (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene). These WASH clubs teach fellow classmates and family members the basics in sanitation and hygiene in order to bring down the number of bacterial infections in schools and in homes that can be passed from hand to hand. Diseases like Diarrhea, Cholera, Dysentery, Typhoid, and Hepatitis A can all be reduced with proper sanitation.
