Where may I mail a donation by check?
Checks may be mailed to Blood:Water Mission, P.O. Box 60381, Nashville, TN 37206.
Is my gift to Blood:Water tax deductible?
Yes, your gift is fully tax deductible, as Blood:Water Mission is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
When will I receive a receipt for tax purposes?
As a donor you will receive an email confirmation immediately upon giving by credit card and a physical receipt by mail each quarter. If your gift was via check, you will receive a receipt by mail within 6 weeks. All donors will also receive a year-end statement, which will be mailed by January 31st.

How can I know you are being good stewards of your funds?
Blood:Water voluntarily undergoes an independent audit each year, and we are certified by the ECFA, the Evangelical Council of Financial Accountability. We also make our audited financials and Form 990 available for download. Our Board of Directors also helps monitor our budget and monthly financial statements.
Could you give me an overview of your program and administrative costs?
Our policy is to spend at least 80% on programs and no more than 20% toward administrative and fundraising needs.
How may I contribute to Blood:Water?
You may make a gift to Blood:Water in a variety of ways. We accept donations via credit card on our website or via check (mail to: P.O. Box 60381 Nashville, TN 37206). We also encourage establishing an automatic giving schedule (e.g., monthly, weekly). This may be done via credit card or via checking or savings account draft. We accept company matching gifts and gifts of stock as well. If your company requests information from us to initiate a matching gift, please email donors@bloodwatermission.com.
I am trying to make a donation online but am having difficulties. What should I do?
Our online processor recommends using Internet Explorer for best functionality. If your problem persists, please contact our office at 615.550.4296 or email donors@bloodwatermission.com. We will try to help you as soon as possible. Please note that if you receive a confirmation via email, your donation has been received.
I am a donor and my contact information has changed. What should I do?
We want to be sure you receive timely correspondence from us, so please contact our office at 615.550.4296 or email donors@bloodwatermission.com and we will be sure to update your contact information in our database.
What correspondence should I expect to receive as a donor to Blood:Water?
We send a monthly email newsletter to our donors and encourage you to sign up on our website to receive them. As a donor you will also receive a receipt for your gift and a year-end statement.
How do I schedule automatic, recurring gifts to Blood:Water?
You may set up automatic, recurring gifts by credit card on the donation page of our website. To set up gifts by bank draft, please call our office at 615.550.4296. We will need to know the type of bank account (checking or savings), bank account number, and routing number.
I have been giving automatically but need to stop these gifts. How do I go about this?
Please call our office at 615.550.4296 or email donors@bloodwatermission.com and we will discontinue these for you.
I have been giving automatically but would like to change my credit card information. How should I change my card information?
For your security, once a gift has been established via credit card, we cannot access your complete card information to change it. Therefore, please call our office at 615.550.4296 and we will discontinue your initial card and then establish a new gift schedule on your new card. If you are unable to call, email donors@bloodwatermission.com and we will make other arrangements.
